What I do at Yü Group
My role as Director of Sales is to develop, own and execute the sales strategy for Yu Energy sales. Currently leading an exciting new project to build a high performing sales function from a new office location in Manchester, focusing on a service driven Sales and Operational model.
Who am I?
I have been working in the business energy industry for 20+ years in various commercial roles for two major suppliers. My early career was spent at British Gas Business where i worked in both Internal and external before moving into a team manager role. I joined Gazprom Energy in 2015 as SME Manager and was responsible for developing our presence in the UK SME market. In 2020 I became Vice President Sales and took responsibility for Sales strategy across four European countries. In 2026 i joined Yu Energy as Director of Sales. Away from work I am a husband to Lizzie, a dad to Jack and Jessica, an avid Manchester United fan and i like to keep fit. I enjoy spending time outdoors walking our dog, socialising with friends and watching the kids play sport on the weekend.
