Joshua Medland
Intraday Revenue Protection team leader
What I do at Yü Group
I share coordinating responsibilities with another team leader for the intraday/revenue protection process.
Specifically, I am responsible for the field coordination with revenue protection & complex warrant cases, intercepting tamper/illegal reconnections, whilst ensuring the correct external parties are contacted to intercept and abate future recurrences of abstractions/energy theft. From ensuring the correct settlements are made, establishing reconnection terms, ensuring the safety of field workers and Yu energies property. I also handle criminal escalations when necessitated.
I am also responsible for training and delegation of revenue protection/warrant work for my team/new recruits.

Advice for prospective candidates
- Do your research, and dig a bit deeper into who we are as an organisation.
- Show enthusiasm, do you just want a job or do you want a career.
- If you're not shortlisted for a position, or unsuccessful at interview stage that doesn't mean we wouldn't want to hear from you again....don't give up!
- Be yourself! As much as possible, I would encourage you to be your genuine self—not the person you think would be right for the role.
